We are happy to run specialist teaching on a one to basis or with a small group.
We have run specific teaching at customers workshops and premises or at our studio in Hertfordshire.
Case History 1
We had a customer working for the military making hollow logs to hide covert cameras etc! They needed specific training for their staff in using a rotational molding machine to do casting work.
We spent a day with them teaching all aspects of resins, moulds and by the end of the day they were competently making their own castings.
Case History 2
John had been made redundant and wanted to invest in himself but required specific training in making moulds and castings of baby & children's hands and feet. After a couple of days working from scratch John was proficient in making moulds and producing castings.
Case History 3
Duxford Aircraft Museum had a team of seven skilled men who restore vintage aircraft. They came to our studio for two days and we made moulds of parts of aircraft and they learnt how to make reproductions in resin etc.
Funding for this kind of specific training is available. Some businesses like banks are giving funding for re-training to staff and this is an ideal way of making good use of this.
We have also helped people start up businesses based upon our experiences.
